Every year during the week of June 19, in honor of Juneteenth, YFAM calls on white yoga and movement teachers to pause their teaching, refer their students to Black teachers, donate to Black liberation organizations, and start speaking directly to anti-racism in their classes. Why? Because yoga must be inextricably linked to justice work and liberation for all people.
